problem with datascroller

im not sure if this is a seam thing or a richfaces thing but here goes.

it renders my list fine and the scroll bars are fine.  problem is it won't navigate the list.  from firefox i get this in my error console

i just upgraded to rich faces 3.3.1 and im getting the same error with a different line.

Uncaught TypeError: Object http://localhost:8080/_master/a4j/g/3_3_1.GA/org/ajax4jsf/framework.pack.js #<an Object> has no method 'dispatchEvent'
