Getting the computer name

In my application I need to get the machine name of the client. I searched all the seam and richfaces documentation, as well as the forums, but I was unable to find a way of doing it. Does anyone know how this could be done?

why don't you try passing the JavaScript variable 'window.location.host' to one of your backing beans?

That unfortunately gives me the name of the host where the application is running ( i.e JBoss machine).
What I need is the client machine name( i.e where the browser runs).
