status of JBossSSO integration?

Following up from another topic, I'm a bit confused by the status of JBossSSO integration and especially the timeline for implementing it.

According to this ticket and the lack of references to it in the documentation, I gather there is no support for JBossSSO.

I can also see such supported was intended at some point; Shane Bryzak was hoping to get it into 2.1.0.

Does anyone know if there is any active development on this?

No work has been done on this since the initial OpenId work.
