broken itext font propagation in seam pdf?

question, should the following example apply times-roman to the nested p:font?

<p:font name="times-roman">
   <p:font style="bold">example heading</p:font>

From looking at the itext font example it would suggest it should.  If so, it's broken in Seam 2.1.2

p:font doesn't cascade like that when nested.  It's a reasonable request for a JIRA, though I guess some thought would need to be put into the nesting rules to not break things existing documents that don't expect that behavior.

Thanks for the clarification Norman.  Would be nice, but see the difficulty in keeping it compatible with existing documents.  Might be useful to update the seam itext font example if it remains as is.
