I recently upgraded a project from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 and I'm noticing (kind of hard not too ; ) that the project is completely redeploying instead of hot deploying where appropriate. Obviously this throws a bit of a wrench in the works for smoothness.
I'm using eclipse 3.4, seam 2.1.2, jboss tools 3, jboss 4.2.3.GA, etc. The project is a sem-gen project from probably 2.0.x (maybe 2.1, but think I started during 2.0). Here's the sig in the sem-gen.properties:
- Generated by seam setup
- Sun Oct 26 11:42:05 CDT 2008
I haven't made any recent changes to the build machinery and all I can think of that might be relevant is updating to 2.1.2. . .err, also updated to jboss 4.2.3 from 4.2.2 a little before that, but didn't NOTICE problems at that time.
Anyway, anybody seen anything like this? Any pointers on where to look? It's obviously a bit frustrating compared with the usually smooth seam development practices.
