    JSFUnit Release Cycle

    jvorpahl

      Good Day Everyone,

We are currently evaluating JSFUnit as a solution for Unit Testing our webapplications. I noticed that the current release is a beta release. Is there any plans to release a non-beta version in the future? Also, is there a set release schedule, or is the software typically released on a non-regular basis?

      Thanks in advance,

For now, JSFUnit is on a traditional open-source release schedule. That is, we do a release when we feel like it's stable and we have added significant functionality and/or bug fixes. It is very likely that we will do the final 1.0 release in the next 3-6 months and probably a second beta very soon. My guess is that 1.0 final will be closer to 3 than 6.

Once the project is more mature we may decide to do time-boxed releases instead of the current feature-boxed releases.
