Dynamic Conversation Description

In my application, the user can have several Conversations running at a time. I want to provide him with the ability to switch between the conversations. But in order to distinguish the different conversations, I need to supply them with a Description.

Now I need to set or change these descriptions when certain actions occur (like when new search-keywords are entered). How can this be done?

Basically, I want a dynamic Conversation Description.

Conversation.instance().setDescription( "blah" );

You can swich between conversations using built-in conversation switcher.

I've tried that before but it would not work as properly as expected in my case. But I discovered you can write EL in the description tag in page.xml.
