Disabling Conversation Ids

I would like to disable / remove conversation Ids from my Web application completely. Can I do this with URL rewrite rules? I believe this requires all view-id declarations to be changed in pages.xml. Is there a global flag that says 'conversations = false'?

Wait a second, why are you even using conversations if you don't want them?

I don't want them, and I have no components with conversation scope, how do you turn off conversations?

OK. Basically no global flag to turn conversations off; I need to go into each h:commandLink s:link so they don't propagate the conversationId. That's fine. Just wanted to check.
