I was just reviewing chapter 3 (the Seam life cycle) in SiA and am wondering how many of the Seam improvements to JSF have been added to the JSF 2 spec? It seems it would be simpler to integrate that as much as possible with JSF 2. e.g. a generic phase listener like the SeamPhaseListener and generic resouce servlet and serverlet filter?
