Seam Software Developer Needed.

NonProfit educational organization is seeking a SEAM Software Developer immediately for the maintenance and operation of its internally built student record system.

The successful candidate MUST have:
•     2+ years of SEAM web development
•     3+ years object oriented analysis and design
•     3+ years of J2EE development
•     Deep understanding of JBoss Application Server and deployment concepts
•     Expert knowledge and capabilities in Java, Script, SQL, AJAX concepts
•     Experience with Maven build system
•     Experience with SVN source control
•     Above average experience with RDBMS

Desired
•     Linux/Mac OSX experience preferred
•     Experience with MySQL Database.


This is a 6 month contracted position with possible extension.
Contract is negotiable based on experience.

Sorry about that the organization is based in British Columbia, Canada but is an online distributed learning k-12 school so all the work could be done remotly.  I'm leaving the position to accept a new job in California.  So they need to find a replacement. School has approx 1500 students and approx 100 contracted teachers and admin staff.

I should clarify, that this position is open to anyone in the US and Canada, and that it is a remote position, so you can work from anywhere in North America.  (i.e. you do not need to travel, just need skype or ichat).

Remote but only US and Canada!

Why not from other countries near your time zone?

There is a lot of good developers (like me :-p) who want a remote job - nice to work from home!
