Hibernate Validator 4.x

Hi all,

Hibernate Validator 4.x has been GA for a little while now, I was trying to find if people had already asked this question, but didn't find anything as of yet.

How much effort is involved in migrating from Hibernate Validator 3.x to 4.x?  Will this break any existing Seam / Richfaces integration?

Also, on another note, any word on when Seam 3.x is expected to show up?  I haven't looked at the source in the repository enough to know where it stands.

i´ve tried the integration, but it´s not working because of a hard reference to the InvalidValues.
Is there a possibility for a fix in the near future or ... ?

Hi René,

Thanks for your comments, I will hold off on upgrading to 4.x until after Seam 3.  I am looking forward to that migration along with JSF2 and RichFaces 4.

DAllen provides some updates on Weld/Seam3, sounded like summer 2010 for Seam3 and they're planning the phased (feature) released style like JBoss AS is doing with JBoss6...
