Navigation side bar

Hi!

I am new to seam and richfaces/jsf and am struggling to find out how to build a navigation side bar that loads the pages i want in the body of the page without loading the entire page. I have used rich:page and rich:layout tags for page layout but it am not able to figure out how to get the desired result. Clicking on the menu item loads the new page entirely instead of in the body 'frame'.
Is there any way to do this? Can I use templates with ui:composition and some ajax tags to get this result?

Can someone please provide me with some guidance or some sample code/examples?

so apparantly no one in the forum knows how to do this. :) I managed to make some headway using rich:layout.

I'm sure ppl on here know how to do this.  Seam is an application stack and integration framework.  One of the frustrations of getting help with Seam apps is knowing where to post your questions.  In this case, you need to post this question in the RichFaces forum.
