unable to fetch data from table

please help me for this problem

i have generate a seam application with the help of CRUD APPLICATION I have two table in postgres student and marks . but when i fetch my marks or student information  it displays the following error.

java.lang.Exception: javax.faces.FacesException: Problem in renderResponse: javax.el.ELException: /StudentList.xhtml @64,60 rendered="#{empty studentList.resultList}": Error reading 'resultList' on type session.timi.dot.ca.gov.StudentList_$$_javassist_seam_2

Hi sadique,

the attribute rendered requires either 'true' or 'false' to decide whether to display your table or not. And your resultList is certainly not returning a boolean.

Hi,

Yor class studentList should have a method getResultList() or a Out-annotation on a List with the name resultList, or - in addition - a Factory annotation on a method which retrieves the values for you.

If needed we can look at you code, so it is helpful if you provide the code of the studentList bean.
