Seam 2 + GWT support deprecated?

All,

I read here that GWT support in Seam 2 has been deprecated; Errai is supposed to be the new preferred way to build GWT-based apps, but this looks to benefit only CDI / Seam 3 users.  Is this true?

I can't really find much on people who had success with GWT and Seam 2.  So I'm curious if it never really caught on.

There have been a lots of such discussions: you have to recreate your own gwt-servlet resource like this one: SEAM-GWT2

and then You're free to use SEAM as integration point for your GWT services, as it was mentioned in the documentation.
