1. Re: Migrate from 32 bit to 63 bit machine
lvdberg Dec 15, 2010 5:31 AM (in response to tausuahmed)Hi,
Every platform has its own Java VM. Every Java application/library/user code
talks
to this VM and it really doesnt matter what number of bits your platform has as long as you're using the right VM, the right version and you don't use any native stuff yourself (that's the nice thing with an independent VM layer).Go to the Java website and look there for more info.

tausuahmed Dec 15, 2010 7:36 AM (in response to tausuahmed)Thanks Leo,
Any way its the byte code matters whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Thanks for your reply.

lvdberg Dec 15, 2010 5:46 PM (in response to tausuahmed)Hi Tauseef,
your user code doesn't change when you change from 32 to 64 bit. It will possibly run
slightly
faster...Leo

elfuhrer Feb 1, 2011 8:26 AM (in response to tausuahmed)Just use a 64-bit JVM and you're done, your application should run fine, all the Seam applications we develop are tested against different application servers and none of them has a flaw because of 32 or 64 bit architectures.
