Expected a child component type of UISelectItem UISelectItems for component found null with flying saucer

Hi,

I am facing a very strange issue. I am using a SelectItem list for populating a drop down which works fine every where but when i try to generate pdf from a different screen and then come back to same screen i see an exception while populating the drop down:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Expected a child component type of UISelectItem/UISelectItems for component type javax.faces.SelectOne(roleList).  Found null.

I am using flying saucer for generating the pdf. Following are the jars that i am using for pdf:

• core-renderer-minimal.jar

• core-renderer.jar

• itext-paulo-155.jar

• xml-apis-xerces-2.9.1.jar

Please let me know if there is any known issue with this combination if not than i will post the code.

I am using seam2.0.2CR1 with jboss 4.2.2GA.

Strange thing is, when i deploy the application on windows machine with same configuration and code then there is no such exception. But with suse 10.2 linux it does not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also i just found that there is an exception in my pdf page:
