issue JPA+JSF

Hi to all
I have a problem with JPA and JSF regarding fetching data from db (mysql) to JSF.

I'm able to load data from database and populate the front-end (JSF).
But when I try to get data (after selecting a menù for example) I get a null data... I'm not able to identify which item of menù is been selected.

I'm using http://www.jboss.org/richfaces
