how to save background images

Hi  to All,

How  to  save background  Image in seam?  below given explanation
the  main purpose is i want to display some text  into image.. for that first i was taken  as  image background. in that background  image iam able to display text(names) at particular area after  then i want  to save that image into  database...

hear  main challenge is  iam unable to get  image with text(names)  to  save into  database..

can  any one  give idea on this  how  to  get that  image   to save  into  DB?

Is it a generated image?  Don't you have the original byte array?

Right i Don't  have  byte  array.. because  of iam taken as  a background image  through url from server.. in that  back ground  image iam able  to display text.. but iam not  able to save that image including text in  to  the data base..  could you please give  any suggestion ..
