but when I remove this I get a SkinNotFoundException.
So it seems the skin is needed.The other question is, where can I modify the skin? It seems the stuff is inside a jar, isn't it?

richfaces has a skin with no predefined CSS called
plain
, simply define
the skin in the web.xml:<context-param> <param-name>org.richfaces.SKIN</param-name> <param-value>plain</param-value> </context-param>

I have the same problem but with icefaces.
I've also started my project with seam-gen and when i want to add my own design and modify theme.css. it doesn't work. But in my case i use icefaces not richfaces . Can you please help me !!
