1. Re: Documentation on jbosssvc.exe
peterj Feb 1, 2012 4:21 PM (in response to hydrazine)Try running "jbosssvc -?", that will print out what I believe is the only documentation about it. Well that and any web pages you find about setting JBoss AS to run as a Windows service.

2. Re: Documentation on jbosssvc.exe
hydrazine Feb 2, 2012 10:56 AM (in response to peterj)Well, I guess that's my problem: the /? options does not seem to even cover all the command line parameters. For instance, in service.bat that comes with jbosssvc there is a line saying:
jbosssvc.exe -p 1 "Starting %SVCDISP%" > run.log
but when I ask jbosssvc it doesn't mention this flag at all.
Another, more pressing, issue is that this particular line does something that causes the application I am working with to go haywire i.e. removing this line makes the problems I am confronted with go away. That's why I would really like to know what it's doing.
Regards,
/hydrazine

peterj Feb 2, 2012 12:10 PM (in response to hydrazine)Sorry, no idea. I haven't been able to locate the source code for it either. Perhaps some kind soul from Red Hat will chime in and shed some light on this.
