pathduck Feb 13, 2012 5:12 PM (in response to morphy)I'm not sure add-user.sh accepts setting base.dir - from my experience it just uses the standalone and domain configuration directories directly under JBOSS_HOME.
It would be cool if it did though, will try again tomorrow.
Maybe specify jboss.server.configuration.dir?

Absolutely. Only the add-user.sh does not respect setting either base.dir or configuration.dir.
I have the same problem trying to add admin users to a server config located elsewhere, using
add-user.sh -Djboss.server.base.dir=/opt/jboss/server/testserver
It just adds users to standalone/configuration and domain/configuration...
So, you have to copy it manually it looks...
