Hi eric - yes you can do this. I assume you have java objects in the grid right?
If that is the case, you can have the REST api server join the grid, and then access the objects by setting the "Accepts" HTTP content header. What the code looks like depends on how you want the data: do you want to get back java objects? or JSON or XML? -
