Seam 3 security with seam faces 3.0.2

Hi, my name's Thiago.

I have a doubt.

I'm trying integrate seam-faces 3.0.2.final and security 3.0.0.final, but viewConfig it's not working correctly.

I catch example and nothing.

Actually, I'm trying with Tomcat 7.0.25

This idea was when the user trying to access somewhere without login, then redirect him to "/page/public/login.xhtml".

In some codes I saw the association of '@LoggedIn', but the seam 3.0.2 compilation error of this structure. Could someone guide me, I'm new to this framework.

I'm trying integrate tomcat 7 and seam 3.1, but it's not working correctly too.

Gives error about TransactionInterceptor, if I don't mistake.

Then, I don't to reasearch more.

Use newer version of seam (i.e. 3.1.0) cause what you run into is a bug present in older versions.

I used JBoss as7.0.2.Final and Seam 3.1.0.Fianl that the seam security is fine.   At first, i tried on jboss as7.0.0.Final , there is an exception abount Transaction.

Let's change the server, Tomcat have to make many adaptations.

Someone could tell me which server you choose, glassfish or jboss and why ??

Obviously we're going to tell you JBoss here

For Seam 3 stuff, we've found JBoss to have less problems, and compatability is tested better on JBoss than Glassfish for all the modules. I also haven't looked at Glassfish 3.1.2, but 3.1.1 still had a few outstanding issues we've reported, JBoss AS7 also runs the latest version of Weld, where Glassfish tends to lag a little bit.
