nexus.war (V1.9.2.3) doesn't work on JBoss AS 7

Hi there

Is there anyone who got nexus to work on JBoss AS 7?

There is already an issue at nexus: https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/NEXUS-4517.

I got it to deploy with the org.jboss.stdio workaround mentioned in the issue, but it won't initialize properly. There is a NullPointerException when initializing nexus (Class DefaultNexus, Method initialize). Apparently, Google Juice Injection into that class (used by plexus) does not work correctly. I guess, there are some classloading issues.

Any hint would be appreciated.

Hi,

I still have same problem with latest nexus-2.0.war on latest AS 7.1.0 deployment. What's worse is that once I deployed with error, the AS server will hang and can not be shutdown. I understand that there could be problem with Nexus war file, but shouldn't AS handle error more gracefully so that in any deployment error condition, it would at least let user to issue proper shutdown right?
