jaikiran Mar 7, 2012 1:18 AM (in response to kc7bfi)How are you deploying the datasource? I had thought that the persistence unit processing would actually setup a dependency on the JNDI name of the datasource to handle this scenario.

kc7bfi Mar 7, 2012 10:41 AM (in response to jaikiran)It seems to be some kind of race condition where the SAR services are started before the datasource if fully started and bound to its JNDI name. Inside my SAR I have a META-INF/persistence.xml and JBoss sees it an reads it and then starts the services. If I look in the services for a few seconds then the datasource has time to start and I can then bind to the JNDI name. David
