What is the best strategy for seam3/AS7 performance tuning and/or profiling

I run seam 3.1 on AS 7.02 and 7.1.

I tried tptp with different eclipse versions and it seems to have the same problem:  “The launch requires at least one data collector to be selected”, and corresponding error in error log: “Can't find bundle for base name feature, locale en_US”.

The JBoss Profiler 2.0 is somehow old, and documentation mentions only servers 5 and 6.

For profiling you can use any profiler you want like yourkit or the one from Eclipse itself.

I'm also interested in learning how to optimize JSF 2/Seam webapps. JSF stateful nature makes it slow. I have seen some benchmarks of stateless JSF and it's way faster.

As I mention the eclipse profiler: TPTP doesn’t work for me with AS 7.

I tried different combination with no success. I am on windows 7. If anyone managed to tun  TPTP with AS7 I would like to know.

Did you try yourkit  with AS7? Their video show suport for JBoss 4.x. Which may not be a good indication.
