How to set a config file for saving log( like log4j.properties) in seam3?

I have put log4j.properties into classpath in seam3, but it don't work while using solder logger.It means no log file generated as all!

How to fix it?

Do I need to config standalone.xml for logging?I don't think it is a good way, for application can't log seperately.

If you want to use log4j, you'll have to include it, I also recommend https://community.jboss.org/thread/156915 and https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS71/Logging+Configuration

I want to use seam3 solder logger. So do I have to use standalone.xml in jboss 7.1 ? No other way for configuration if I use solder logger?

Are you talking about setting up Solder logging to use Log4j? There is no setup for Solder Logging, it uses JBoss Logging, and you should be able to set that up according to the links I posted earlier to use any other logging system.

By the way,I found there is no JpaPermissionStore in documents or examples of seam3 for permission management . Instead seam3 uses drools in the example security-idmconsole. So where can I find documents about using drools in seam3 for permission management?
