Selection should not happen for specific row

Hi,

I have extended datatable where having more number of rows. The selection happen for every row based on the selectionMode. I have a requirement if I select first row, that row should not be selected. But others can be selected.

Please someone could shed a light how to I acheive this? Very urgent
