soap manipulation without touching webservice code

Hi, I am not so familiar with jboss/ webservice development ect. also i am not sure if this is the correct place for asking my question.

I have to do a project in my university where i have to work with jbossas and webservices. I need to extend incoming and outgoing soap-request with any id.

This id doesnt have to be interpreted of the webservice. I thought about handlers/ listeners/ ... but my problem is that i am not allowed to do any changes on the webservices. It should be an extension of the server and not touching any service code.

Is there a way to do this without any code changes of the services?

I'm not sure I get it right what you want to achieve,

but you are probably looking for JAXWS handlers.

Unfortunatly I dont think that i can work with handlers as they have to be registrated in the services. (This is how i understand it, please tell me if my understanding is wrong)

I need to extend a incoming/outgoing message and I am not allowed to configure anything in the webservices. It should be a kind of a Filter/Intercepter which takes away/adds an id to the soap request/response before/after they reach the services. I also thought of a proxy but this doesnt work because of my further tasks.
