What is the WEBDAV url to access Gatein 3.2 's JCR

There is no documentation on how to acess Gatein's JCR with WEBDAV in authenticated mode. Some forums speak about :

http://localhost:8080/rest/private/jcr/repository/system/

But this Causes a :

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException

        at org.exoplatform.portal.webui.application.UIPortletLifecycle.processRender(UIPortletLifecycle.java:314)

        ... 140 more

Any better documentation on WebDav ?

Hello Olivier,

As you probably know the URL pattern for DAV access is :

http(s)://[server]:port/rest/private/jcr/[repository]/[workspace]

In GateIn and all product based on it, you have multiple workspaces that store different content. The "system" one is the "JCR System" (kind of the JCR catalog') and most of the time you do not need to use it. (note that, and it does not help you, I do not have any issue to access http://localhost:8080/rest/private/jcr/repository/system/  I am using GateIn 3.2, Tomcat Package on OS X 10.7.2)

In GateIn you have multiple interesting workspaces:

- portal-system ( http://localhost:8080/rest/private/jcr/repository/portal-system ) : contains all the Portal Metadata : portal pages, navigation, preferences, gadgets, app registry, ...

- portal-work : used to store some "portal application data" such as token, sso ids, ...

- system : as stated above, JCR "internals"

You can find the Repository/Workspace configuration in the following JCR Config file:

$GATEIN/webapps/portal/WEB-INF/conf/jcr/repository-configuration.xml
