1. Re: CLI add-jms-queue fails in jboss as7.1.1.Final standalone mode
lafr Mar 26, 2012 3:13 PM (in response to rstokoe1)After connect execute "help --commands" to get the list of commands.
Then "jms-queue --help" to see the options for this command.

rstokoe1 Mar 26, 2012 4:10 PM (in response to lafr)Frank,
Your response refers to jms-queue which is a different command than add-jms-queue. The add-jms-queue command I issued, "add-jms-queue --name=myQueue --entries=queues/myQueue" came right out of the as7.1 admin guide (https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS71/Messaging+configuration) and is consistent with the sytax show by "add-jms-queue --help".

lafr Mar 26, 2012 4:54 PM (in response to rstokoe1)1 of 1 people found this helpfulSoftware and documentation seem not to be up to date at this location.
I've been using "jms-queue add ..." and no use the seperate xml files.

4. Re: CLI add-jms-queue fails in jboss as7.1.1.Final standalone mode
rstokoe1 Mar 26, 2012 5:31 PM (in response to lafr)Thanks. The doc is apparently out of date. The following worked for me:
[standalone@localhost:9999 /] jms-queue add --queue-address=myQueue --entries=queue/myQueue
[standalone@localhost:9999 /] /subsystem=messaging/hornetq-server=default/jms-queue=myQueue:read-resource
{
"outcome" => "success",
"result" => {
"durable" => true,
"entries" => ["queue/myQueue"],
"selector" => undefined
}
}
[standalone@localhost:9999 /]

rstokoe1 Apr 18, 2012 10:00 AM (in response to gatlachinna)Gatla,
Maybe your problem is you are using standalone.xml rather than standalone-full.xml (or another that includes messaging extension).
