Core Bridge between JBoss AS instances

I want to set up a core bridges between a number of jboss instances using HQ. None of the instances are part of a cluster.

I understand what's required on setting up queue's etc. But I get confused when it comes to setting up connectors. I simply need to be able to specify the IP Address and ports of the remote machines. I haven't seen this referenced in the examples, they only seem to refer to clustered configurations.

When using JBM1.4 I used the jms-ds.xml and then created a bridge configuration using the entry in jms-ds.xml.

Can I setup up my core bridges on one JBoss instance? And then just have acceptors on others (So only one machine needs to have knowledge of the bridge)?

A push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the best place to start is to read the chapters in the user manual on core bridges and also on connectors.

Then take a look in the examples. There's a fully working core bridge example (no clustering) too.

Yes, I have the example and have run it: "examples/jms/bridge"

However, my connection factory in jms-ds.xml which is in messaging.sar. There is no messaging.sar anywhere in the default-with-hornetq profile but I spotted the name is now hornetq.sar. Section 33.3.2 needs to be corrected.
