sekobey Oct 17, 2012 1:22 AM (in response to renz13)Unfortunately. We left this discussion, we are now using username, password authentication. As you see, there is no JBOSS DEVELOPER to answer this discussion. I couldn't understand that.

4. Re: JBOSS 7.1.1 Remote EJB Authentication with custom credentials
jaikiran Oct 17, 2012 1:26 AM (in response to sekobey)So you are looking for client side JAAS authentication for invoking on remote EJBs? That's possible, see this post https://community.jboss.org/message/764373#764373
Edit: I re-read your post and it seems that you want much more than simple client side JAAS authentication. I'm just curious, which version of JBoss AS supported the feature that you are looking for?

5. Re: JBOSS 7.1.1 Remote EJB Authentication with custom credentials
sekobey Oct 17, 2012 1:19 PM (in response to jaikiran)Hi Jaikiran,
Sorry for my rudeness at the post one before. But i could not get any answer for a long time for my question. So, we now have given up the original task and we are using username password login. But i want to know if i could send custom credentials like at the original question. When i was using JBOSS 4.2.3, 5.x or 6.x, i could send credentials with custom callback handler to the server at any time, not only at connection time. At JBOSS 7.x, i couldn't send username and password at any time to the server. For example, first i want to call an unsecure EJB and then do some tasks at EJB method, after EJB client will call secure EJB. When calling, authentication and authorization will be done. Is this difficult to achieve at JBOSS 7.x???
Meanwhile, I looked at your example at the link. However, i couldn't see any security configuration at RemoteEJBClient class. An i wrong???
Note: I am using JBOSS 7.2.0.Alpha1-SNAPSHOT nightly build. And i have custom login module at server running for remote ejb authentication.
