lucianom86 Mar 19, 2012 10:25 PM (in response to gboro54)I don't know if I understood what you need, but if you only need to create a datasource for testing, you can create a file called test-ds.xml in you project and then put it in your test package. JBoss will automatically recognize it and deploy it as a datasource.

gboro54 Mar 20, 2012 7:40 AM (in response to lucianom86)What do you mean JBoss will automatically recognize it? If I put a .ds folder in my src/test/resource package it will automatically deploy this? What about the driver then?

4. Re: JBoss 7.1 datasource and driver deployment
lucianom86 Mar 20, 2012 7:44 AM (in response to gboro54)Jboss 7 automatically recognizes files with *-ds suffix as datasources. Remember that you have to copy it from src/test/resources to the package you're creating in your @Deployment method.
The driver I usually configure it manually in the standalone.xml.

gboro54 Mar 20, 2012 7:46 AM (in response to lucianom86)Copy the datasource where in the @Deployment? Additionally is there away to just deploy the driver(jdbc 4 compliant) into the deploy directory rather then copy it as a module?

6. Re: JBoss 7.1 datasource and driver deployment
lucianom86 Mar 20, 2012 7:52 AM (in response to gboro54)If you are creating a JavaArchive, you can use addAsManifestResource("test-ds.xml").
About the driver, I don't know because I configure it manually, the only way is testing.
