Common cache for 2 web apps in same JBoss

hello,

   I wonder how to run common cache for my backend and frontend application, I could not get clear answer from docs/tutorial. Should I put same class in both applications and try to get caches with same names? I also tried putting infinispan.xml in /deploy directory and try to access this config from both WARs, but I couldn't determine what path should I specify (to this file).

     I would be grateful if anyone could help me started.

PS. I'm using JBoss 5 and Infinispan 5.1

Either in JBoss 5 or JBoss 6, you'd have to do this manually. The easiest is maybe having a service that binds your Infinispan instance to JNDI and then you access it from your apps. See https://docs.jboss.org/author/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=5832910

For AS7, things are much easier.
