Unable to access localhost server via IP

I’m running JBoss which I can access in my browser using localhost with no problems. But I want to share my local server on the network, to demo what I’ve been doing. The problem is when I try using my local IP in place of localhost I get a connection reset error. The IP is taken from ipconfig and pings okay. Can anyone please help with this?

This has now been solved by a colleague of mine:

Add –b 0.0.0.0 to your JBoss command line.  This will make Jboss bind to all interfaces on your local machine, so you can access it via, localhost, ip address or machine name.
