Infinispan 5.x and JBoss EAP 5

Hey,

We're looking to bundle Infinispan 5.X into a new J2EE app.

Most of what I have read says that by packaging Infinispan into your EAR and isolating the classes will allow it to work.

My question is, can it still be used as a distributed cache between all the JBoss App servers its deployed on by configuring infinispan.xml and jgroups.xml within the EAR to setup a cluster independant of the cluster setup with JBoss?

We're not using jgroups or jboss cache built with jboss5

As long as the JGroups classes are isolated correclty and you use a version that works for Infinispan, that should work.
