Upgrading between JBoss versions

Good day,

Is there a way to capture the changes made in the domain or standalone server, so that the configuration can be applied to the next incremental JBoss release? For example, I have configuration in the JBoss 7.1.1 standalone.xml relating to datasources, OSGi, JMS and the like which I would like to apply to the JBoss 7.1.2 release when it becomes available but I would like it performed in a more automated fasion than manually editing xml.

The configuration file should be usable as is for the next server version (minor number ).

Only thing is that you can not use new features.

For that I compare the default files provided to see whether xsd has changed or new subsystems are provided.

Yep,

as the confguration is centralized (standalone.xml  -- domain.xml && host.xml) you will be able to diff the configuration easy. Also it is more simple to keep the configuration files compatible.
