Thanks for reply!
Any tentatives dates for 7.2 (I am hoping these minor releases are mostly bug fixes and missed features, upgrade from 7.1Final may not be too hard)?
As well as we are struggling with the question that any architectural changes expected in near time (down the line may be 2-3 years). I understood it is not 100% answerable question, but would like to get an idea.
Perhaps stating the obvious - to secure your investment it is a good idea to stick to the standards. So as long as you code against JavaEE,OSGi,etc you should be safe. Is there any specific propriatary functionality you are concerned about?
thanks for the link to the Roadmap!
Next up should be 7.1.2.Final-redhat1 on May 7th
Now I wonder if EAP ONLY means that this Release will not be available to the public?
Currently in our project we are testing on a self-build version from the trunk.
We would strongly prefer a formal Open Source Release, but due to a bug 7.1.1 is non an option.
Hi community, I read the comments and threads referred in this link. Even though I am not clear on everything discusses over there, my understanding is, there is no more PUBLIC patch release for JBoss AS 7.1. tag. Am I correct? If so, do we need to wait till JBoss 7.2 release? If so, is it going to be public? Only jboss-naming is failing in my case, is there any way I can integrate Jboss-naming-1.4.Final to Jboss-7.1.1.Final? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and help.
