1. Re: Http Session Timeout
nickarls May 18, 2012 4:06 AM (in response to tomasp)Not sure it can be done easily, at least the 1.1 web subsystem schema doesn't give any clues to it.

2. Re: Http Session Timeout
tomasp May 18, 2012 4:15 AM (in response to nickarls)Yes, you're right... I've checked that too with no luck. I'm inspecting the source code of org.jboss.as.web and found class org.jboss.as.web.SharedWebMetaDataBuilder which constructs SessionConfigMetaData and sets the default value 30 minutes for the timeout. I suppose that the shared web metadata is something that is shared among all web applications. The problem is that (in my opinion) there is no way how to replace the value using configuration.

3. Re: Http Session Timeout
jaikiran May 18, 2012 6:09 AM (in response to tomasp)It probably is intentional to not let overriding/customizing that configuration centrally for all applications (like some other properties in the web subsystem), I don't really know. You might want to ask this in the AS7 dev mailing list https://lists.jboss.org/mailman/listinfo/jboss-as7-dev
