toomtooms Jan 14, 2011 4:23 PM (in response to marcelodmartini)Hi,
you can easily create a gadget (which can be added in your portal pages like a portlet) with GWT : http://code.google.com/p/gwt-google-apis/wiki/GadgetsGettingStarted

2. GateIn Protlet and GWT ?????
plamarque Jan 14, 2011 4:42 PM (in response to marcelodmartini)Hello Marcello,
What do you mean by "compatible" ?
Yes it is possible to deploy a GWT application in Gatein. It is quite straightforward via gadgets as Thomas is suggesting.
Also at eXo, we managed to embed a GWT component into a webui portlet. So I guess it should not be so hard with any other portlet technology.
I can't show a getting started example but if you are interested, you can explore here.
Speaking of compatibility, things like IPC between GWT and portlets are probably a greenfield.
