I'm trying to map the following variables in a entity bean to MS SQL SERVER DB. Do I have to use DOUBLE or can I use double. Either way it does not work. Only a String works. Please help. I included the ejb-jar.xml code snipet.
public String productID; // PK
public String name;
public String description;
public double basePrice;
This is what I put into the ejb-xml.jar
<enterprise-beans>
Models a music CD
<ejb-name>ProductBean</ejb-name>
org.jboss.docs.product.ProductHome
org.jboss.docs.product.Product
<ejb-class>org.jboss.docs.product.ProductBean</ejb-class>
<persistence-type>Container</persistence-type>
<prim-key-class>java.lang.String</prim-key-class>
False
<cmp-field><field-name>productID</field-name></cmp-field>
<cmp-field><field-name>name</field-name></cmp-field>
<cmp-field><field-name>description</field-name></cmp-field>
<cmp-field><field-name>basePrice</field-name></cmp-field>
<primkey-field>productID</primkey-field>
Do you have data type mappings for SQL Server defined in your jaws.xml or standard-jaws.xml?
