JBoss 7.1.2 - Failure build - SimpleRepositoryTestCase

I am trying to build the source code from the tag 7.1.2.Final. SimpleRepositoryTestCase fails as a result of which the build fails .As anyone faced this problem. What does SimpleRepositoryTestCase do ?

Also what is the way to build the source code by ignoring the tests ? Thank you !

on what kind of platform/jdk does build fail for you?

to skip tests just add -DskipTests on the end of build command.

or simply

build clean install -DskipTests

I am trying to build it on Windows platform. I have downloaded the AS7 7.1.2.Final code. Then tried building using - build package

what do you mean by "build package"

you can build it from command line by running command build clean install -DskipTests in root folder of downloaded/checkouted code.
