3. Re: Jboss AS Latest stable version
jrgahan Feb 20, 2015 7:29 AM (in response to jaikiran)Hi Jaikiran,
There is a requirement to upgrade Java version to JDK1.7 . I am using jboss-5.1.0.GA with JDK1.6.0_17 .So I have decided to use jboss-as-7.1.0.Final with jdk1.7.0_75. (Although I have seen Jboss AS 7.1.1 (Brontes) is available )
I have compiled my java source code with jdk1.7.0_75 and deployed in jboss-as-7.1.0 Server and application is working fine in my laptop with OS- Window7 professional . I have seen some new file structure introduced in jboss-as-7.1.0 . So now the next target is to test this same in Linux Server by upgrading Jdk1.7.0_75 and deployed in jboss-as-7.1.0.
Few questions comes to my mind during this time and please respond as well. Thanks in advance.
1. Combination of jboss-as-7.1.0.Final with jdk1.7.0_75 is right Decision ? or which version will suitable for Jdk1.7.0_75 for now and also in future.
2. Which version of linux will compactible with jboss-as-7.1.0 with jdk1.7.0_75 ?
3. Is jboss-as-7.1.0 is best option for future with jdk1.7.0_75 ?
4. I am using axis web service and Cognos 10 , will it cause any issue ?
Thanks,
Jyoti
