2. Re: Valve configuration for webservice in ejb-jar
gazonk Jun 19, 2012 11:25 AM (in response to ctomc)We need to change some HTTP Headers as well as change the status code 500 (on SOAP Faults) to 200 if a special Header is found in the Request (this is for Adobe Flex Clients).
Furthermore we are using BASIC-Auth on the Webservices and we had a Audit-Valve which tracks user sessions and login/logouts.
In addition to this we had a Valve which is capable of changing the context-root of all applications (adding a base-url before the actual context).
Unlike the RewriteValve which comes with JBoss 7 this valve also rewrites the Path in Cookies and the HTTP Location (Redirect) Header.
I know most of this can be achieved by putting an apache server in front of the AS (using mod_rewrite) but we would like to avoid this.
Thanks for your help.

3. Re: Valve configuration for webservice in ejb-jar
gazonk Jun 29, 2012 5:25 AM (in response to gazonk)So i guess it isn't possible to add valves for ejb3 webservice endpoints?
That also means theres no way to implement a custom authenticator for those webservices!? (https://community.jboss.org/thread/171497)
