    Is JSFUnit DEAD??

    privera1984

Looking at the jsfunit website (http://www.jboss.org/jsfunit) the last announcement was made nearly a year ago.

Looking at the github commit graph, seems there were no commits for over half a year already.

No one is answering the posts in this forums.

      IS JSFUNIT DEAD??

I wouldn't declare it dead, but it has been in a coma for awhile.  I've had zero time to devote to JSFUnit in the past year.

The Arquillian team has plans for JSFUnit but I don't know the status.

Do you have any idea how much effort it would take to get JSFUnit to work with the final Arquillian? The project I'm currently working on has over 300 JSFunit tests, mostly using the client-side stuff. It's now gotten to the point of being the 'weakest link' that keeps us from being able to upgrade our glassfish, primefaces etc., which is not a sustainable position.

We now have the choice between either spending the time and effort to make JSFUnit compatible with the latest versions of the other testing libraries, or throwing it out completely and rewriting all those tests using pure htmlunit. If the effort required is reasonable, I'd much rather do the former, since it would benefit more people.

If you have any ideas or pointers, that would be much appreciated.
