What is jbossas-ws-native?

I've been task to validate JBoss vulnerabiities were patched. After running yum list "jbossas-ws-native*", I'm not getting any hits that it was installed. I reviewed the installation guide to find that jbossas-ws-native is optional. My question is what is jbossas-ws-native?

It is the "JBossWS - Native" web services stack. See http://www.jboss.org/jbossws

P.S. Personally, I wouldn't use yum to install anything JBoss-related. I would download it form the JBoss web site instead and install it that way.
