Can't get JBoss working correctly on Windows Server 2008 R2

I can't get JBoss working on a Windows Server 2008 R2 vmware machine to talk to an outside client.

I have an application running JBoss and it works with localhost.

I did find out that in order to get it working with an outside client you start it with

start.jar -b 0.0.0.0 

I tried this with 2  windows 7 machines, one as client and one as server with JBoss,

but I can't get the same configuration to work in the Windows Server 2008 R2.

Can someone point me to a solution?

I read that you use Windows7 as is and Windows2008 in a virtual vmvare box, right?

Is there any network restriction for the vmware box, or active firewall?

What JBoss version do you use?

BTW start.jar -b 0.0.0.0, or do you mean run.bat? Or how do you start the JBoss?

Sorry to cause confusion.

It's just a Windows Server 2008 R2 and it's in vmware box.

I was just givng a silly example that I knew how to configure jboss and make it work in the office for

two windows 7 machines. 

The target is really the WS 2008 r2 machine.

I will check on the network restrictions on VMware.
