Is there a replacement for rich:columns in richfaces 4.2?

Hi guys!

I realized that there was a rich:columns to populate a rich:dataTable dynamically in richfaces 3.3. I'm wondering if there is a replacement for that component in richfaces 4.2.

I have a dataTable created dynamically but I think it would be better if I could use a way like the old rich:columns.

I don't think there is at present but this was discussed at a recent richfaces team meeting with a view to

introducing something (i.e. rich:columns or an a4j:repeat based solution) in the 4.3 timeframe:

Thanks for your response. I'm wondering why the richfaces team development would remove such useful thing and didn't put a replacement for it.

Anyway, we will wait for the richfaces 4.3 deliver hoping to have again something alike. Meanwhile I have to find another solution.
