1. Re: How to deploy individual DS files in JBoss AS7
jaikiran Jul 13, 2012 3:01 AM (in response to manoj.m.agarwal)You'll have to use 7.1.0.Final or a later release for that http://jaitechwriteups.blogspot.in/2012/02/jboss-as-710final-thunder-released-java.html

lafr Jul 18, 2012 7:55 AM (in response to manoj.m.agarwal)What do you mean with "doesn't work"???
For me it works. There is no limit on the number of files.

manoj.m.agarwal Jul 18, 2012 10:40 AM (in response to lafr)Hi Frank,
I tried to put two DS files(each having one datasource) in standalone/deployment dir and only on DS was getting bind but when i put both the data sources in one single DS file both data sources got bind.
I am using Jboss AS 7.1.1Final along with Teiid 8.0.0Final. Does it works for you for the same versions ?
Thanks !

6. Re: How to deploy individual DS files in JBoss AS7
lafr Jul 18, 2012 12:46 PM (in response to manoj.m.agarwal)1 of 1 people found this helpfulI'm using it since it's available in AS7.
As I was used to it in former releases and do not like the jboss-cli option.
Currently I have a build of 7.1.2 as of mid of March in place and the current build 7.2.0-Alpha-SNAPSHOT.
In 7.1.2/standalone/deployments e.g. currently I have 6 files:
hgm2e-ifx115-ifx-ds.xml
int2e-o10lx-ora-ds.xml
maj100909-2e-o10lx-ora-ds.xml
mbi2e-gp3-ifx-ds.xml
mbio2e-o10lx-ora-ds.xml
neu2e-ifx115-ifx-ds.xml.
All are deployed successful and in use.
When you copy your first ds-file to the deployment folder it get's deployed you said. You see the output in server.log or stdout I guess.
What happens when you copy the second file? Anything in server.log?
You're sure, both files are correct?

7. Re: How to deploy individual DS files in JBoss AS7
manoj.m.agarwal Jul 19, 2012 6:47 AM (in response to lafr)Hi Frank,
It works fine. I was following the schema for datasource file but the file naming convention was not correct. When i saw the list of your DS files then i realized my mistake.
Thanks !
